The Bangladesh Medical Students’ Society (BMSS) is a national member organization of the International Federation of Medical Students Association (IFMSA). IFMSA is an entity recognized by the World Medical Association, World Health Organization, and United Nations as the global voice of medical students.BMSS, a non-governmental organization representing associations of medical students across the country, is registered under the Registrar of Joint Stock Exchange & Firms, Bangladesh and is a full member of IFMSA.

As an organization, BMSS strives to provide its members with numerous opportunities to become global health leaders of today and tomorrow. Ever since its inception, BMSS has spread its wings to different corners of the country and continues to do so even today

“Famulus Clementia” means serving Humanity. BMSS has been working towards this end since its formation till now. It is the motto behind our work.

• Provide a link between medical students from different medical colleges and international organizations, for cultural exchange and bridging cooperation between them
  
• Provide an arena for medical students, to convey their voice to all levels of the government and other relevant stakeholders in the medical educational area.
• The Society will be a platform for medical students to discuss, formulate policies and conduct workshops on community health, global health, education and science.
• To increase the capacity of Bangladeshi medical students, to use their capacities and capabilities as a medical student to nourish and educate the nation, to actively cooperate with the international community in the effort to improve the world’s health, and fight for the dignity and sovereignty of Indonesia in the eyes of other nations in the world.
• Actively improve nation’s health by real activities in community.
• Give medical students a ground to take the initiative for building a better BANGLADESH.
• To support and facilitate professional and research exchanges as well as extracurricular projects and training for medical students, thus introducing them to other cultures and their health problems to improve the medical profession.
