Climate change is the most discussed issue in the present world and it attracts the attention of people from all walks of life at local & global levels. The rise of sea level has chronically been a curse to the coastal civilization in Cox’s Bazar district of Bangladesh. They live in miserable conditions and are devoid of many basic rights including education. Keeping all these in mind, the Standing Committee on Public Health (SCOPH) of Dhaka Medical College Local Committee (DMC LC) & Gross International Nature(GIN) collaborated to launch an event “CREATE: Climate Remonstration – Educate and Advocate to Tend the Earth ” to be taking place from 23rd September to 1st October 2021. This event includes a closed session webinar, panel discussion, a petition for upcycling surgical masks into tote bags and a month-long fundraising campaign for the displaced Rohingya students.
