What is SRT?

A Sub-Regional Training is an international meeting supported by the IFMSA, where members and motivated students from a (sub)region or sometimes even further away can meet and participate in trainings, workshops and small working groups.

Sub-Regional Trainings (SRTs) and other IFMSA Activities are organized by an Organizing Committee (OC) within a National Member Organization (NMO) that volunteers to find board and lodging, to coordinate the trainings, Small Working Groups (SWGs) and workshops and to organize a social program for all the participants. The main objective of the program is to improve the work of IFMSA in the region.

SRT’22 BMSS-Bagladesh

SRT’22 is going to be organized by BMSS Bangladesh for the second time. As we all know Sub-regional training is an official IFMSA meeting with a capacity-building approach aimed to deliver several training sessions and workshops within a particular region and this year it is happening in the Asia Pacific region and BMSS Bangladesh is the organizing NMO. Though there were many challenges in organizing an international event like SRT with this new normal life after COVID-19 our organizing committee all together has pulled off this event amusingly. “ANANDA PARK & RESORT” a mesmerizing peaceful place with an absolute natural view of typical Bangla has been selected as the venue for SRT’22. There will be a 3-day training from 9th March to 12th March where our IFMSA certified trainer will take those training. This time we are offering 2 training.

Why should I attend SRT?

A Sub-Regional Training is an international meeting supported by the IFMSA, where members and motivated students from a region or sometimes even further away can meet and participate in training, workshops and small working groups. By joining this training program you’ll be able to obtain diverse sets of knowledge, skill and lifetime amazing memories. It is a big opportunity for any participant to attend 3 days of sessions and training to harness their abilities, gain an intensive understanding of different topics and build up their capacities. To make sure that this event will as incredible and fruitful as it could be, we are looking for motivated participants.

How to Register?

Participation in the Sub Regional Training Program is open to medical students from any of the National Member Organizations. If you would like to apply for the SRT, visit our SRT 2022, BMSS Bangladesh. We have already opened our call for participants.
